Oregon is an example of yet another failed socialist "experiment". Their government provided universal health care (OHP) has turned into a medical rationing system:

The Nightmare of Rationing in Oregon

Two cases of “public option” administrators rejecting patient requests for lifesaving or life-extending drugs (and instead offering to fund those patients’ assisted suicides) reached the mainstream media...

This is what Obama and the Dems are trying to foist upon us. I only hope the Dem infighting over Obamacare causes it to wither on the vine.

It's like Paterson's plan to have fully 25% of NY state residents on Medicaid by the end of 2010. That's what this is all about, and in typical Democrat fashion, they take the easy way out, and offer some form or another of government "fix".

Cool she picks on Oregun, too, which is a Lib state that kinda flies under the radar, compared with MA and others. Oregun is a relatively "poor" state, like SC, yet every intervention by the government(s) in OR pushes up the cost of living, there, and all but destroys jobs, and any semblance of job creation, even in good times. I know this because I have friends who live there. The government messes up the economy in a local area, putting more folks on the dole, then the gubmint swoops in and pushes more "programs" on to people to "fix" things.
