Obamacare supporters paying off “grassroots” advocates with jobs advertised on Craigslist

This takes the cake! My friend, Colorado Conservative, shared the following with me in email. Obamacare supporters are paying off “grassroots” (astroturf) advocates with jobs! The lefties have the gall to call us astroturfers and here they are paying people to support Obamacare and busing in SEIU union thugs to town hall meetings! What a bunch of hypocrites! Here’s their ad on Craigslist:

From: Craigslist: Defend President Obama’s Health Care Plan over August Recess! $500+/wk

Now is our chance to make health care work.

America’s health care system is broken. Health care costs are spiraling out of control, throwing families, businesses and government into financial crisis. Families are worried their health coverage won’t be there when they need it. Our country can’t afford to wait for health reform that keeps costs down and protects consumers.

We can’t wait for affordable, dependable health care.

We’re fighting for health care that will protect families’ financial health, lay out a clear path for all Americans to afford health care, and improve patient safety and quality care.

You can work for change this summer.

Colorado Conservative here. My brother attended this rally when Pelosi visited Denver and was one of the few who ran around to the back alley as she quickly got into her limo and was whisked away. The following week we got an email saying Pelosi would return to Denver, however, we soon learned the “announcement” was false. Some speculate it was designed to undermine the credibility of our grass roots organizers, since the announcement was tracked back to a member of SEIU.
