There’s been a lot of buzz in the MSM lately concerning brick throwing incidents and threats towards Representatives who voted for the Health Care “Reform” (NOT!) Bill. There was an incident here in Rochester and reported on by the D&C’s Jill Terreri, where a brick was tossed through a glass door at the Democratic Committee Headquarters on University Ave.
As one of the organizers of the Rochester Tea Party Movement, I can assure you that we do not tolerate or advocate violence or racism. We held three Tea Parties last summer (2009) and they were uplifting, patriotic events that were spirited, but were non-violent and there was no racism.
The Rochester Tea Party Movement organizers, which include We Surround Rochester, Campaign for Liberty, Young Americans for Liberty and the RochesterConservative.com blogs, are committed to peace and the political process and we do not tolerate or advocate violence or racism.

‘Course the knee jerk media immediately blamed the tea party movement.
Turns out Republicans have been getting threats, too. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-OH) got death threats saved to her voice mail by a man who said he wanted to “shoot her in the face” with his 9MM. One of Cantor’s campaign offices was shot at last night.
The media and the Dems are the ones fanning the flames.
