Yeah. Right. They have to attack her views on international law, as well as other eyebrow-raising views she holds dear. Her comment on the 2nd Amendment was telling. When asked by Graham on her views about the 2nd Amendment, she used the oft-repeated meme of "many Americans....". Yeah, Sonia, all of us unwashed masses whose 2nd Amendment rights are protected, unlike New Joke City where handguns have been banned since 1912, EXCEPT for the famous, the well-connected, the rich, the politicians, the Rosie O'Donnel's (sp?) of the world. Sonia Sotomayor is quite possible one of the worst nominations ever for the Supreme Court. She's another one of these elitist "Good enough for me, but not for thee", types. They should also hammer her on her financial history, and her "I buy presents for 40 people at Christmas", comment. With her irresponsibility re: her financial matters, coupled with her Left Wing views and kooks she counts as friends, I shudder to think how she would vote/rule/decide on cases involving the current financial meltdown, to include cases which are sure to come up re: loans for minorities and all manner of high-risk mortgage schemes. “Rhetorical flourish” is how she described her oft-repeated comments.
