Link to: Democratic Socialists of America

Once again with the election cycle in full swing, it’s time to remind everyone of just what our “progressive” DemonRats really stand for. The Democratic Socialists of America are indeed the US branch of the Socialist International Party, which is in turn a chapter of the World Communist Party.
I have posted the link to their web site – and cordially suggest that if you have the time, please go there and actually read the drivel posted there. Yes, you will need a large lawn leaf sized barf bag to get through it.
Question and Answer pdf about Democratic Socialism.
The scary part is that they have over 70 members sitting in the US Congress RIGHT NOW. And the voting masses have NO idea of this affiliation, or what the goals of this organization are: To implement socialism as an interim measure on the road to full communism.
So while we are mobilizing against the threat of Hillary, Obama, and yes, Mc Cain, there is a deeper and more persistent threat – the same one we’ve been fighting for over 60 years. Communism is like rust. It never sleeps

Great post by Datura from Free Republic!
We need to get the word out about socialist/communist incrementalism and how it’s already starting to turn our great Republic into a socialist state.
Remember all of our friends of RochesterConservative.com , socialism is the antithesis of freedom.

Is there a list of the 70 current Congress members out there that are in the DSA/Democratic Socialists of America(http://www.dsausa.org/dsa.html)? I did a google but nothing (surprise!). The names need to be made public.

Yeah phantomlord, I meant to delete my comment and ended up deleting the entire thread!
I did have a browser window open with the original post and all the comments that I had to add in posthumonously!
Words of advice, really be careful when you click on “Are you sure you want to Delete?”.

Thanks for compiling these stats. I knew we had influence in Congress . I had no idea it was so extensive.
The united States has retained considerable Socialist influence since the early 20th Century. Were it not for the applications of Socialist principles in the 1930s, the US economy would have collapsed long ago, as capitalism is inherently unstable.
The mixed economy we now enjoy is primarily corporate socialism, propped up by massive infusions of government spending. We retain socialized medicine, in the form of Medicare and other state medical support programs. Without Socialist aspects of government in the daily lives of millions of people, our lives would be considerably more bleak.
Even this Internet is a Socialist contribution to your daily lives.
Enjoy!

It is precisely the socialism that is bringing us down… How much of the federal budget is spent on socialism? It’s roughly two thirds of the federal budget… and we have $75 trillion in owed entitlements not on the book in addition to the $9 trillion of existing debt.
How much of the New York State budget goes to socialism? Roughly 80%. We’re also $91 billion in debt.
Capitalistic economies cycle up and down… it’s the nature of the beast. Socialism didn’t save us from it, it’s choking us to death, causing inflation and stunting our growth.
Socialism didn’t save us from the Great Depression, World War II did. It got our economy moving again.
Finally, the internet was not born of socialism, but rather military need. It was developed by grants from DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Project Agency) in an effort to develop better military communications. You might as well call the F-35 project “socialism” at that rate.
