There’s a definite adversarial, “us vs. them” attitude on the part of a lot of urban folks in this country, which, by itself, promotes crime. This jerk out in Seattle was helped by family and friends, and I doubt this is the first time they’ve “helped” him.

Look at what’s happened in the past year in Rochester, to see how total disrespect of the law has inflicted upon law enforcement officers.

-On January 31, 2009, RPD Officer Anthony Diponzio was shot in the back of the head by Tyquan Rivera. Because he was considered a youthful offender at the time of his crime, Rivera, although guilty, only receives a sentence of 3 1/2 to 10 years!

-On December 1, 2009 RPD Officers Luca Martini and Daniel Brochu were shot while responding to a home invasion robbery. Nixon Elian and Marquis Parker are being held in custody, without bail, for this crime.

We have a cop-hating culture in the City of Rochester that’s been “cultivated” not only by the gangsta rappers, but also by the very people who should be spreading peace. You know who I’m referring to, howardroarke.

We’re in the middle of a major crime wave, the likes of which we haven’t seen in a long time in this country. The media refuse to report on it because of “political correctness”.
